'Safe Travels' Omamori Car Charm
In Japan, you can opt to have your car blessed by a Shinto Priest at certain shrines.
Many Japanese Shrines have charms called 'Omamori'.
These are Protective Charms or Amulets in the form of small sacks of embroidery, small seals, or decorative emblems on stickers.
The 6 kinds of Omamori are:
- Ward Away Evil
- Safe Travels
- Education Charm
- Love Charm
- Money Charm
- Long Life Charm
Well, we may not be in Japan, and I couldn't find a Shinto Priest to bless them for us, but in the belief of Car Gods we need some 'Safe Travels' Charms to ward off the drivers that pulled their licences from cereal boxes.
May the badass Boso Skull keep us all safe.
Placement:
These Omamori stickers are placed below the drivers side dash,
on the front lower trim of the centre console,
beside your knee/shin,
on the gearbox tunnel trim discreetly in the lower drivers footwell.
RHD: To the forward left of your left knee
LHD: To the forward right of your Right knee
